Assasin’s Creed: Valhalla is a new entry on the series and it shows. While not as polarizing as some of the entries we’ve seen in the past, this one does offer an interesting story and world I can’t wait to be explored.

The first thing any AC fan will notice about this game is that it has an RPG twist. As a result, you can upgrade various things to your liking including skills and weapons. This adds a nice flavor to the game while creating a deep enough combat system that you will still want to delve in it to unlock new abilities and armors.

The way the world is designed also feels fresh while keeping many of the elements that made AC feel like AC. The climbing is still fluid, except for some rare occasions where your character will end up warping somewhere instead of grabbing a ledge. This was fixed in the recent patch which also added New Game+ to make it more replayable after finishing the story campaign.

About Assasins Creed

I truly enjoyed my time with this game and I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did. However, this one might not be a good starting point for newcomers to the series because it does require a bit of knowledge from previous AC games in order to fully enjoy it.

We all know that the Assassin’s Creed franchise has had its ups and downs over the years, but Ubisoft is quite aware of this problem and works hard at trying to bridge gaps between fans while still creating an enjoyable experience for them.
