Welcome, fellow Tenno. I’m here to show you how to farm Neurodes efficiently in Warframe. So you want to know what the hell is a Neurode? Well, it’s an item that can be found on Grineer tilesets’ spy missions (which means they’re also called Spy missions) like Corpus Void and Grineer Galleon. At the end of these spy missions, you can find a container that has an average of 2 Neurodes each, and that’s it.

Now, here’s the kicker: upon extraction (which is when you leave the mission area and go back to your ship), these containers will repopulate in a new location in the tileset and give out 2 Neurodes again. This means you can keep going back to extract over and over again until they run out of Neurodes.

Now, let’s get started with the farming!

First of all, you’ll need to go to the ship and click Archwing in your navigation bar. You will be presented with several missions, but we’ll go for Derelict over here. When you’re there, you need three things: a good Archwing, a good weapon and a good companion. You can choose any mission you want as long as they’re on the Grineer tileset. I myself went for Antechamber since it has Corpus enemies which means more loot drops from those guys!

To get to a spy mission, you go to a relay (the big one, not the small ones), click on the spy mission and then launch! You will be put in an Archwing, which might sound scary at first if you’ve never used it before. Don’t worry though; it’s not that hard to handle. I’m not going to tell you how to use your abilities since there are plenty of tutorials out there already, but I will give some general pointers for this mission. First of all, the Archwing flies in a straight line. It’s not that slow compared to your normal mobility options, so you can easily get out of tight spots with it.

Where to get neurodes in warframe

When you’re in the mission, you can easily see where the containers are. All you need to do is fly towards the green circle on your map and drop down into it. You will know that you’ve entered a container’s area since you’ll get this weird field of vision. When there’s no Neurodes in this container, it will turn dark. When you’ve gotten the Neurodes, you can fly up and go to another container!

So there it is folks; a quick guide on how to efficiently farm neurodes. The first time I did this, I got 500 neurodes in about 40 minutes or so without any alerts/completing the mission. I didn’t manage to get that many in my second run, since I got distracted by getting some loot (when your companion’s reward is pretty much crap, you gotta go for other sources of income).

Average amount of neurodes per container

The catch is to get them all in one go because if you quit early, they will reset to 0. Each time you fail to get all the neurodes, the chance of getting them all goes down. Luckily, you can make the run more likely to succeed by using Void Tracers (which I didn’t know at first; don’t get me wrong, only 4 neurodes are needed for each try but it’s still better to do more).

Conclusion

All in all, this is a good way to farm neurodes and not spend too much time on it. I hope you enjoyed reading the article and maybe learned something new! If you have any questions or suggestions, leave them in the comments below.
