AT&T confirmed that it will be raising the price of most existing TV services, including DirectTV Now and AT&T U-Verse. Customers who sign up for a new service before March 23 will not have to pay the increased amount.

AT&T TV Now Existing Subscriber Price Rise Coming March 23 [Updated]

Updated on February 25, 2021: According to new information, AT&T TV has decided to cancel the price hike after collecting consumer comments. This, however, has not been verified.

Article from the beginning: Starting March 23, 2021, AT&T TV Now users will experience a pricing rise. This is the most current modification to the service, which was just recently integrated with AT&T TV. Existing AT&T TV Now users will continue to get the same AT&T TV Now-branded package, but pricing will increase. The shift also impacts DirecTV Now users who have been with the company for a long time.

In recent years, AT&T TV Now has undergone a lot of adjustments. Since taking over from DirecTV Now, the service has seen many price rises and one unusual price decrease, however at the expense of losing HBO. When 2021 arrived, AT&T essentially shut down AT&T TV Now, rebranding the plans as new no-contract AT&T TV plans in addition to the service’s current two-year commitment choices.

Old AT&T TV Now customers were allowed to keep their existing package and pay the same price. Subscribers are now getting emails informing them of a price adjustment, according to Reddit. Starting March 23, 2020, AT&T TV Plus and Max plan users will see a $10 price hike.

Grandfathered DirecTV Now customers seem to have been impacted as well, with the company’s Live a Little, Just Right, and Go Big plans all slated to increase by the same amount on the same day.

More DVR and streams are almost certainly on the way.

While this isn’t good news for AT&T TV Now or DirecTV Now customers, it does mean that they’ll be getting more at the same time. Another user confirms that AT&T TV Now’s cloud DVR would be increased from 500 hours to limitless in a different post on Reddit. Subscribers will also benefit from a policy that allows for almost limitless simultaneous streaming. Essentially, customers will be able to watch on up to 20 devices simultaneously at home, as long as they are all linked to the same Wi-Fi network.

These enhancements to the cloud DVR and simultaneous streams rules are expected to affect all AT&T TV customers, not only AT&T TV Now subscribers. Simultaneously, the price hikes impacting AT&T TV Now and DirecTV Now users will bring their packages considerably closer to the existing AT&T TV no-contract options. At the end of the day, AT&T seems to be in the process of merging all three of these disparately branded subscriptions.

The Powerwild, Bouncywild, and Mushroom, White heartless drop Power Shards. They may also be found in Halloween Town by charging Bambi’s summon gauge.

Bambi is your best chance for farming these shards, since the numerous “Wild” monkey-themed creatures are a pain to deal with. Bambi’s strategy is to call him in Halloween Town and destroy foes in order to boost his gauge. When his gauge is full twice, he has a 40% chance of dropping a shard, and when the gauge is filled three times, he has a 60% chance of dropping a shard.

If you prefer to farm the monkeys, the best place to do it is in Deep Jungle, notably at the Campsite and battling all of the Powerwilds. With Thundaga or Trinity Limit, they’re rather simple to knock down.

Plus, after you’ve cleared the area, you can simply return to the tent’s save point to generate more.

Power Shards are required in a variety of synthesis recipes, the most noteworthy of which are the Energy Bangle, Power Chain, Angle Bangle, Power Up, Mega Potion, and many more.

Bambi summoned in Halloween Town / KH1.5 Screenshot

Where Can I Find Power Shards?

You don’t have to harvest all of these foes since there are plenty of other possibilities. It is preferable to choose a single agricultural approach and adhere to it.

That being stated, here are all of your options:

Powerwilds

The basic monkey heartless you’ll initially face in Deep Jungle are these poor apes. Deep Jungle, Monstro, and the End of the World are the only places where they may be found.

They have an 8% chance of dropping a Power Shard, and in the original KH1 game, that probability may be doubled to 20% if they slide on a banana peel launched by one of their strikes.

Note that if you’re playing Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix, these monkeys only have a 4% chance of dropping.

However, they are remain the easiest heartless to defeat in large numbers (and quickly). These foes should be your first choice if you want to fight heartless for Power Shard drops.

Close-up Powerwild Heartless Screenshot / KH1.5 HD

Bouncywilds

These pink jumpy monkeys are exceedingly quick and extremely tough to take down, making them one of the most frustrating foes in the whole series.

In the original game, they had a 12 percent chance of dropping a Power Shard, however in KH1.5 Remix, they only have an 8 percent chance.

These monkeys may be found in Traverse Town’s 2nd district, as well as Deep Jungle, Monstro, and the End of the World. Like the Powerwilds, the best spot to farm these monkeys is probably Deep Jungle.

White Mushroom

These uncommon heartless may be discovered in practically all of the game’s worlds. The idea is to play charades with them and strike them with certain spells, with each spell affecting the kind of drops you’ll get.

If you wish to get Power Shards, you’ll need at least the Stop spell. There’s more good news: as the third spell in their sequence, you just need to cast Stop. When you use Stop as your third spell, you have a 100% chance of getting a Power Shard.

However, since we need to locate White Mushrooms willing to play charades with Stop magic, there are only a few places we can go where the mushroom will desire that spell.

These are the locations:

– Atlantica: Sunken Ship – Atlantica: Undersea Cave (Below Decks) – The End of the World: Interconnected Worlds

Bambi

In Halloween Town, summon Bambi and begin eliminating opponents. Over time, this will fill up his gauge.

If you beat enough foes to fill Bambi’s gauge x3 times, he’ll drop a Power Shard for you 60 percent of the time. If you only manage to fill the gauge twice, you’ll have a 40% chance of losing.

As a result, you can see that this farming approach has a very high success rate.

However, since Bambi has a separate drop table for each planet, this strategy only works in Halloween Town. Bambi’s entire drop table for Halloween Town is as follows:

Gauges Drops
x1 Filled High-potency (100 percent )
x2 Filled Mega-Ether Power Shard (100 percent) (40 percent )
x3 Filled Elixir is a kind of elixir that (100 percent ) Shard of Power (60 percent ) Gem of Strength (30 percent )

Uses of the Power Shard

Here are all of the Power Shard-required synthesis recipes, including both the original KH1 and the KH1.5 Remix.

Power Up: Increases the strength of any party member by one point. It can be made using List IV and x5 Power Shards, x3 Power Gems, x1 Power Crystal, x1 Mystery Goo, and x2 Orichalum in the original KH1.

List V and x5 Spirit Shards, x3 Spirit Gems, x5 Power Shards, x3 Power Gems, and x1 Dark Matter are required if you’re playing Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix.

The Energy Bangle is a cute little item that boosts your maximum HP by three points and your defense by one point. In Kingdom Hearts 1, you may build it using List I and x2 Power Shards and x1 Frost Shards.

The formula for KH1.5 Remix does not need any Power Shards.

This little chain boosts your Strength by 2 points. Make this in Kh1 using x2 Spirit Shards and x2 Power Shards from List I.

Alternatively, you’ll need x2 Power Shards and x1 Lucid Shard in KH1.5 Remix.

Gain +6 HP and +2 Defense with the Angel Bangle. Combine it with List II and x3 Spirit Shards, x3 Power Shards, and x3 Bright Gems in Kingdom Hearts 1.

This recipe is different if you’re playing Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix, and it won’t need any power shards.

The Golem Chain is an item that gives +3 strength and +1 defense. List II and x3 Power Shards, X1 Power Gem, and x1 Lucid Gem are needed to make it.

There is a recipe in KH1.5 Remix that does not need power shards.

Heartguard provides +3 HP, +4 Defense, and +20 percent Dark Damage Resistance to your heart. Power shards aren’t required for the KH1.5 Remix recipe, however the original game requires List III and x3 Spirit Shards, x3 Power Shards, and x1 Power Crystal.

You’d be silly not to manufacture the Gaia Bangle, which has +9 HP and +3 Defense. It’s without a doubt one of the greatest!

To make this, use List III in Kingdom Hearts 1 and the needed ingredients are x5 Power Shards, x3 Power Gems, and x1 Bright Crystal.

Power shards aren’t required in the KH1.5 Remix formula.

Mega Potion: Restores 30 HP to everyone in your party. List I, x1 Spirit Shard, x1 Power Shard, and x4 Mythril Shards are used to make this in KH1.5 Remix.

It’ll be different this time since the original KH1 formula doesn’t need any Power Shards.

Titan Chain: A chain that gives you +4 strength and +2 defense. This may be made using List III and x5 Power Shards, x3 Power Gems, and x1 Power Stone in Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix.

A variant formula is used in the original KH1 that does not need power shards.

Grinding Powerwilds at Deep Jungle Campsite / KH1.5 HD

Is it worthwhile to cultivate these?

You may make a huge variety of items with these shards, all of which are highly helpful.

If you need extra Power Shards, I’d try farming them.

On your adventure, the Gaia Bangle, Heartguard, and Titan Chain will all be useful.

And, since these shards are uncommon, you won’t be able to gather enough of them merely by playing the game regularly.

However, if you’ve unlocked Bambi and have access to Halloween Town, Bambi is an easy farming approach here.

The monkey heartless are time-consuming and inconvenient, but they are a viable alternative if you wish to harvest Power Shards before Halloween Town. If that’s the case, you may want to try your luck with the apes.

Starting next month, AT&T will raise the price of select DirecTV Now and AT&T TV Now subscriptions by $10. There had been some doubt about whether the price hike would really take place, but AT&T is currently in the midst of sending out emails to impacted consumers to confirm the change.

In recent years, AT&T’s TV customers have gone through a lot of adjustments. Not only have channel lineups and plans changed throughout time, but the price has also risen on a regular basis. The price rises will be more more noticeable for DirecTV Now members who initially joined up for $35 per month.

AT&T has already begun informing consumers of the new price increase through email. In general, the hike means an extra $9.99 per month will be added to the cost of a membership. The price hike only impacts people who had a DirecTV Now or AT&T TV Now subscription, not those who had signed up for AT&T TV.

The price hike is set to take effect on April 1, 2021. The specific day on which an individual subscriber will receive a price hike will, however, be determined by their payment cycle. If they haven’t already, individuals impacted will get an email shortly confirming their revised pricing and start date.

In a few years, a lot can happen.

When AT&T first introduced DirecTV Now, it was one of the best offers available. In fact, individuals who signed up for the Go Big plan at a discount paid just $35 for the best offer available. However, the cost has gradually increased since then. While the same customers will continue to have access to the same channel lineup, the new pricing may be similar to what AT&T TV and other live TV streaming providers are already charging.

Regardless, based on their specific discounts and requirements, some customers may discover that they are still better off with their current bundle. For example, HBO Max is still $5 included in for members, as well as any other loyalty savings. Others, on the other hand, may have lost the pricing and channel advantage that came with being an early adopter.

20 Best New PS4 Games in 2021

The pace of PlayStation 4 game releases isn’t going to slow down in 2021. Here’s everything to look forward to in the coming months.

AT&T TV has doubled the number of streams to twenty and boosted the cloud DVR allowed for customers who pay for the recording add-on from 500 hours to limitless. However, the modifications have caused considerable confusion, particularly among individuals who are still considered AT&T TV Now and DirecTV Now customers.

In recent years, AT&T’s TV users have seen a number of modifications to their service. From the service’s name changing many times to numerous pricing hikes (and a price decrease) to the channels they’ve added or lost, there’s been a lot of change. The most recent modification was mostly good in that it addressed two common customer complaints: the number of devices on which they may view at the same time and the amount of recording hours available.

The announcement of the modifications was made a few days ago, but the change did not take effect until today. Subscribers to AT&T TV may now record as much as they want and stream on many devices at the same time, as long as they are at home.

Many AT&T TV Now and DirecTV Now customers, however, have discovered that they are not covered by the current upgrade options. Users have turned to numerous forums to describe the matter, and although some have been able to contact an AT&T TV agent, others have been advised that their account is ineligible. However, for those who are still having problems, there may be a rather straightforward remedy.

Upgrades and add-ons may be related.

Because of the way AT&T TV has functioned in recent years, including grandfathered features, many of its customers are likely to be on drastically different plans. This is true not just in terms of the amount of recording hours they receive or the number of streams they have access to, but also in terms of the monthly price they pay and even the name of their plan. However, a trend has begun to form in one Reddit post, indicating that the current DVR and stream enhancements are likely to be directly tied to the add-ons.

It seems that an account’s eligibility for the DVR or stream upgrade is based on the amount of recording hours or streams it had before. When it comes to the DVR, contacting AT&T TV seems to be the best option. With the extra streams, though, the procedure becomes a bit more difficult.

Basically, any subscriber who previously only had two simultaneous streams will not immediately get the twenty-stream increase. Those who were on three streams before were immediately upgraded (whether they paid the previous $5 add-on or were included for free with a subscription). As a result, it seems that just adding the $5 extra stream option to an existing two-stream plan would instantly convert the account to the twenty-stream plan.

It’s unclear if the $5 add-on must then be activated (and invoiced) or whether they can just cancel the add-on again, given that the system has already logged the change, but this might work for any user who wants those extra streams but can’t get assistance from AT&T TV employees.

Update on the price hike

For reference, the information on the probable resolution for the simultaneous streaming problem came in a post meant to offer an update on the upcoming price rise. Plans to raise the price of AT&T TV Now and DirecTV Now subscriber plans by $10 per month have been abandoned, according to the poster. This information, however, has yet to be validated. The price hike was set to go into effect on March 23.
