The Lenovo Y50 has been a favorite among gamers since it was released in the past few months. Its sleek design, powerful specs and slim form factor make it a perfect choice for those who want to take their gaming up a notch.

The “Lenovo Ideapad 3 review” is a laptop that has been released to the public. It has a 4K Ultra HD screen and can be purchased for $1,099.

The Lenovo Y50 4K Ultra HD laptop is a 4K version of the company’s Y50 Gaming laptop, which I previously reviewed. The Y50 4K UHD version has the same design and build quality as the Y50.

It boasts an Intel Core i7 Quad-Core Haswell CPU, plenty of RAM and storage choices, a fantastic keyboard with numeric buttons, and a powerful graphics processor from NVIDIA, the GeForce GTX 860M Maxwell.

But it’s the Y50’s display (obviously!) that distinguishes it from the Y50 4K UHD. The Y50 4K has a 15.6-inch display with a 3840×2160 Ultra High Definition or 4K resolution, providing you extra workspace and making pictures and text seem amazing.

Features of the Lenovo Y50 4K Ultra HD Laptop

As I previously said, the Lenovo Y50 UHD 4K has a new elegant design that is identical to the rest of the Y50 line.

It comes with a beautiful lighted AccuType keyboard that provides excellent tactile feedback. JBL stereo speakers with subwoofer and Dolby Advanced audio technology are also included.

The Lenovo Y50 4K is powered by a 4th Generation Intel Core i7-4710HQ quad-core Haswell CPU with a 2.50GHz base clock speed and a 3.5GHz turbo clock speed.

Depending on the model, the CPU is linked with either 8GB or 16GB DDR3L 1600MHz memory.

An NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M discrete graphics processor with 2GB or 4GB VRAM drives its 15.6-inch UHD display.

A 512GB SSD and a Hybrid 1TB 5400 RPM hard drive + 8GB SSHD are available for storage.

The Lenovo Y50 4K lacks an optical drive, although depending on the merchant, an external DVD RW drive may be provided.
